The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 P.M., June 29, 2021 in the City Council Chambers, Alvin City Hall, 2nd Floor, 216 West Sealy, Alvin, Texas 77511. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications and plans. There is NO charge to view or download documents. The last date to accept questions for this project on the www. website is June 25, 2021, until 2:00 PM Local Time. Bidding documents may be examined at the above location or may be obtained by prospective bidders or suppliers upon payment of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00 non-refundable plus cost of delivery) for each set of documents at GC Engineering, Inc. Office. Checks should be made payable to GC Engineering, Inc. No cash will be accepted. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the PSF building at 2:00 P.M., June 22, 2021. The City of Alvin will be bound by the terms of this invitation only to the extent funds, from whatever source, are available. All bids must be accompanied by proposal guaranty in the form of a Certified or Cashier’s Check, or Bidders Bond drawn to the order of the City of Alvin, and in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after receipt of bids except with the approval of the City of Alvin.
