On March 30, an update on the number of COVID-19 cases reported in Brazoria County was issued.  The total at press time being 68.

Three of the cases are in Alvin, four in Manvel, one in Liverpool and 13 in Rosharon/area.  The other cases are in Angleton, Clute, Freeport, Lake Jackson and Pearland.

According to the report from BCHD, the marjority of the cases are in home isolation, a few are hospitalized and the first death in the county related to the virus was confirmed.

Five individuals have fully recovered and have been released from home isolation.

As cases continue to increase, we ask residents to take the Stay Safe @ Home Order seriously.
