Multiple vehicles burglarized
At approximately 8:30 a.m. Sept. 30, multiple past burglaries were reported at a auto repair business in the 1499 block of West State Highway 6. Five vehicles were vandalized and a transmission flush machine valued at $4,000 was stolen.
Pressure washer stolen
At approximately 4:24 p.m. Sept. 29, shoplifting was reported at a business in the 400 block of South State Highway 35. The suspect attempted to steal a pressure washer valued at $324.
Cell phone stolen
The theft of an Apple Iphone X valued at $600 was reported in the 1900 block of Rosharon Road at approximately 12:41 p.m. Sept. 28.
Shoplifting suspects arrested for outstanding warrants
At approximately 2:59 p.m. Sept. 27, police responded to a report of shoplifting at a business in the 2600 block of South State Highway 35. Upon investigation, multiple subjects were arrested for outstanding warrants and the theft of less than $100 in merchandise.
Suspect attempts to evade and resist arrest
At approximately 11:53 p.m. Sept. 25, police discovered multiple drugs during a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Old Manvel Road. A 44-year-old Alvin man was taken into custody for possession of 6.6 grams of methamphetamine, 9.1 grams of THC oil and narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was also arrested for evading and resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.
At approximately 1:58 a.m. Sept. 25, a traffic stop conducted in the 1600 block of Clifford Street led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Alvin man for driving while intoxicated. As the suspect has three or more past violations for the same crime, the offense was raised to a felony.
At approximately 7:59 p.m. Sept. 24, Alvin police responded to a business in the 400 block of South State Highway 35 for a report of shoplifting. The subject was arrested for attempting to steal $86.92 worth of household goods.
