Recovery Month
Brazoria County Commissioners Court presented a proclamation during Commissioners Court on Sept. 24 declaring September as National Recovery Month in Brazoria County. The National Recovery Month theme is “Join the Voices of Recovery: Invest in Health, Home, Purpose and Community.” Recovery Month observance helps spread the message that behavioral health is essential to health and one’s overall wellness and that prevention works, treatment is effective and people do recover.
