Charles A. Butler, age 62, of Tombstone, Arizona passed away with his family by his side on September 23, 2021, in Sierra Vista, Arizona. He and his wife, Karen, moved to Tombstone from Alvin, Texas in 2019. Charles loved fixing things; he always had to have a project to work on whether it was building or working on vehicles.

Charles is preceded in death by his Father, Charles “Rabbit” Walton Butler; Mother, Ressie Aline Butler both of Alvin, Texas. Sisters: Taressa “Taylor” Butler of Houston, Texas; Wanda “Sissy” Andrews and brother-in-law Lawrence Andrews of Saint David, Arizona.

Charles will be missed by many; he leaves behind his wife, Karen Whitley Butler; Daughter, Heather Butler Deaton – Jordan Deaton of Diamondhead, Mississippi; son, Justin Waller – Rachel Hamilton of Houston, Texas. Grandson, Charles “Charlie” Deaton of Diamondhead, Mississippi, who was the light of his paw paw’s eye. Along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and friends who are  chosen family. There are too many to name – you all know who you are! Charles touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who know and love him.

A celebration of Charles’ life was held November 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the The Harbor Church, 2821 W Parkwood Ave, Friendswood, Texas. A reception was held afterward.
