Leonardo Quintero Jr. (known fondly as Leo), age 69 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his residence. Leo was born September 12, 1951 in Alice, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Known for his love of the Dallas Cowboys and Blues music, Leo could always be counted on to crack a joke and put a smile on the face of anyone he met and never missed an opportunity to brag about his children and grandchildren.  Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Maria Quintero Sr.

Leo is survived by his children, Lisa Sullivan and husband Jeremiah, Ashley May and husband Ross, Joshua Quintero and wife Amelia; sisters, Maria Ramirez and husband Ramiro, Gloria White and husband Donnie, Laura Quintero; grandchildren, Tori, Madelyn, Ally, Avery and Kennedi; great-grandson, Declan; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home.
