PELTIER

Russell Ray Peltier, age 53 of Alvin, Texas passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Russell was born March 10, 1967 to Donald Ray Peltier and Connie Zay (Fatheree) Peltier in Houston, Texas. Russell grew up in Manvel and graduated from Alvin High School in 1985.

Russell had a passion for art and enjoyed painting. He also loved the outdoors and you could find him camping and on hiking adventures. One of his favorite things to do would be to sit around a campfire telling stories. He will always be remembered for his cheerful personality, sense of humor, infectious laugh and always having a smile for everyone. Russell will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Russell was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Peltier. He is survived by his son Garrett R. Peltier and wife Victoria of Alvin, Texas; son Gavin L. Peltier and wife Abby of Alvin, Texas; father Donald R. Peltier and step-mother Carole of Rockport, Texas; sister Vera B. Brock and husband Robert of Manvel, Texas; brother Jeffrey N. Peltier and wife Karyn of Fort Worth, Texas; brother Todd A. Peltier and wife Debbie of Friendswood, Texas; step-brother Billy Johnson and wife Dianna of Cedar Park, Texas; mother of his sons Tammy Mentzel of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren, Hali and Klein Peltier of Alvin, Texas; numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank John and Diane Hovas for all their love and support they gave Russell.

Due to the nationwide situation the family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
