Jeannette Stuksa, age 76, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019, in Webster, Texas. Jeannette was born October 29, 1942, in Sealy, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She worked as a homemaker, book keeper for the family business and paraprofessional at Alvin High School. Jeannette had a God-gifted talent of being an organist. She blessed people with her talent by playing the organ at both First Baptist Church and South Park Baptist Church. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents, Christine and Alvin McDonald.
Jeannette will be remembered most for her loving attitude. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was so proud to be married to Roger, the love of her life. The love they had for each other was seen by all that knew them. Everything they did, they did together. She loved the family that they had together. She would tell everyone she could how proud she was of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love and kindness went beyond her family. She was proud to take on the role of mom, grandma or aunt to anyone who needed it.
Jeannette proudly served Alvin by being on the city’s Parks and Recreation Board. She also attended every city council meeting with Roger when he served on the City Council. She even had a special seat reserved just for her in the front row.
Jeannette is survived by her husband and love of her life for 57 years, Roger Stuksa; daughter, Tina Robin Elaine Royles and husband Philip; sons, James Mack Stuksa and wife Becky, Darren Emil Stuksa and wife Aom and Roger David Stuksa and wife Elena; brother, Virgil McDonald and wife Frances; and 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
