Robert “Bob” Jones, age 70, of Manvel, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Houston, Texas. Bob was born August 12, 1948, in Falfurrias, Texas, and was a resident of Manvel for over 15 years. He worked for many years in the chemical refinery at Chocolate Bayou.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Opal Jones; brother, William “Billy” Jones; and previous wife, Nancy Jones.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones; daughters: Melisa Thompson and husband Wayne, Malinda Jones and husband Randy, Tereasa Yardley and husband Jackie, Nacole Graf and Daphne Bellah; sons, Jimmy Novak and wife Stephanie and Joseph Novak and wife Torrey; 21 grandchildren: Rhys, Ian, Mary Beth, Kyle, Brooke, Tyler, Eligie, Wyatt, Ty, Jacob, Fisher, Taylor, Celeste, Isabella, Shelby, Haley, Christian, Victoria, Jessica, Nicholas and Joshua; one great-grandchild, Ava; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas.
