Samuel “Sam” Hunter Willke, age 69 formerly of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Wharton, Texas. Sam was born March 16, 1950 in Houston, Texas and was raised in Jersey Village, Texas. He has worked for over 7 years with Alvin I.S.D as a master plumber and was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed fishing, train sets, and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a person that was a stranger.  Sam is preceded in death by his, parents Lela and William “Bill” Willke, Jr., and brother “Jack” William Willke, III.

Sam is survived by his wife, Sue Willke, daughters, Stephanie Mosier, Katherine Pruitt, July Mayfield, son, Shawn Hinkley, brothers, Dwight Willke, David Willke, grandchildren, Jackson Mosier, Alex Thomas and husband Andrew, Brett Baierl, great grandson, Waylon Thomas, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Visitation was held Friday, February 7, 2020 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home with Interment to follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.
