Roy (Red) Schenck, age 73, of Liverpool, Texas, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Roy was born October 5, 1945, in Melbourne, Arkansas, and was a resident of the Liverpool/Alvin area since 1980. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked many years as a welder/operator in chemical plants. Roy loved to read, wrestling, westerns and Native American culture. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Claire Schenck; parents, Leith and Lula Hellums Schenck; son, Alfred Bureau Jr.; and sisters, Evelyn Baker, Joyce Lehman and Ronnie Schenck.

Roy is survived by his son, Scott Bureau; daughter, Diane Nichols and husband Charles; sisters: Ruby Cotton, Bev Miller, Charlotte Terrill and Bonnie Barton; brother, Boyce Schenck; grandchildren: Jennifer Marshall, Christie Merchant, Alexandria Bureau and Cory Bureau; and five great-grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
