BEALL

Phyllis Eulela Beall, age 93 of Liverpool, Texas passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020. Phyllis was born at home on the Grupe Ranch January 16, 1927 and remained a resident of Liverpool throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward Ray Beall; daughter, Jo Ann Beall; grandson, Zachary Wyn Herrington; mother, Ernestine Brunner Grupe; father, William Reese Grupe; brothers, Robert Turner and J.R. Grupe.

Phyllis is survived by her 3 daughters, Janet Stratman and husband, Johnny, Carol Green and husband, Eddy Merchant, Sharon Herrington; 6 grandchildren, Nancy Christian, Donna Blazek and husband, Johnny, Christopher Herrington, Rachel Herrington, Samuel Green and Luke Green; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

After graduating from Danbury High School, Phyllis attended business college in Houston and later in life obtained her degree from Alvin Community College. She worked many years at Monsanto’s Chocolate Bayou plant and upon retirement proudly served as Tax Collector for the city of Liverpool for many years. Phyllis was an avid reader, a devoted mother, grandmother and left  a lifetime of precious memories for a life well lived.

The family would like to extend special appreciation to Darla, Crisha and the wonderful caregivers of Kozy Corner assisted living. They would also like to thank the entire staff of Fairmont Hospice for their outstanding care as well.

A Visitation was held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services were at 10:00 AM Monday, March 2, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home with Interment following at Liverpool Cemetery.
