Gale “Kelly” Pugh, age 49 of Alvin went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 19, 2020. He began his life on this earth on September 22, 1971 when he was born to parents Leslie Antoine Pugh, Jr. and Donna Kay (Braden) Pugh. He was a lifetime resident of Alvin attending New Hope Church. His family and friends knew him better as Kelly. He attended Alvin High School and spent a career working as an I/E Technician and Foreman. He married Patricia Walker on December 7, 2001.

Growing up Kelly’s family home was known as the “Christmas House” in Alvin. Many would come to see the animated characters, decorations and visit Santa (who sometimes resembled Kelly). He had a love for motorcycles which he shared with his son and big brother. Wind therapy soothed his soul and every chance that he had he would be on his bike. A good time to him also included hunting for bargains at garage sales. Time Spent with his family was most valuable to him, and his grandson was his greatest treasure. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need without a second thought.

Preceding him in death were his parents Leslie and Donna Pugh. Those left to remember him include his wife Patricia Pugh; son Cody Walker; grandson Isaac Walker; brother Randy Pugh and wife Tami; sister Tonia Washburn and husband Michael; nieces and nephews: Brandy Pugh, Nicole Christopher and husband Ryan, Shawn Pugh and wife Janie, Jessy Pugh, Tabitha and Anthony Washburn; great nieces and nephew: Gracelyn Christopher, Leila & Dominic Vallecio, Ellie Trevizo and Zoey Pugh. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 1st at 3:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family under the direction of Scott Family at www.scottfuneralhome.net.
