John Henry Olsovsky Sr., age 90, of Rosharon, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, in Webster, Texas, surrounded by his family. John was born January 29, 1929, in Wallis, Texas. He worked his entire life in agriculture as a farmer and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, as a faithful navigator. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sophie Olsovsky.

John is survived by his wife, Pauline Olsovsky; daughters: Dianna Greak and husband Oscar, Debbie Olsovsky, Cindy Pendergrast and husband Mike, Sheila Hageman, Beverly James and husband Albin and Laura Provada and husband Paul; sons: John Olsovsky; Jr. and wife Karen, Bobby Olsovsky and wife Carol Ann and Jeff Olsovsky; sister, Georgia Matusek; brother, Ben Olsovsky and wife Shirley; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

A funeral mass was celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel, Texas. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
