GARCIA

Betty Jean Garcia, age 59, was reunited with her parents in Heaven on Monday, September 7th, 2020, in Alvin, TX.  She was born in Galveston, TX., on August 16th, 1961, to her parents, Inez and Lino Bera Garcia. She was nicknamed by her family and friends as “Betty Sue”, She loved being with her family. She enjoyed going cruising with Juan, and spending time with her grandkids.

Betty Sue is survived by her spouse of 21 years, Juan Gonzalez of Alvin, TX. One son, Everett and his wife Criselda Mendiola of Alvin, TX, thirteen siblings; Ninfa Huerta of Alvin, TX, Johnny Garcia of Angelton, TX, Robert Garcia of Chicago, IL, Nicky Garcia of Houston, TX, Lino Garcia, Jr. of Alvin, TX, Tio Garcia of Alvin, TX, Stella Calderon of Galveston, TX, Ruth Garcia of Alvin, TX, Carmen Serrato of Alvin, TX, Esmeralda Cruz of Utah, Mary Ramirez of Baytown, TX, Matilde Luna of Alvin, TX, and Felix Garcia of Alvin, TX.  She also leaves behind her three grandsons;  Everett Houston, Adriano Noel and Elysiano Noah Mendiola all of Alvin, TX.

A public visitation was held on Friday, September 18th, 2020, from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Faith Assembly of God located at 4320 Mustang Rd. in Alvin, TX 77511.

A Funeral Service was conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 19th, 2020, at Faith Assembly of God. She was laid to rest at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, TX.
