Luella “Lou” Tennis Isom, age 80 of League City, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her residence.  Lou was born January 6, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa and was a resident of League City for the last 6 years formerly of Alvin, Texas. Her mother died when she was 5 years old and she was raised by her loving grandparents, Florence and Alfred Miller. Lou was baptized in April of 1957 and her faith was strong with her throughout her entire life. God carried her many time when life was hard.

Lou made a career with the Federal Government as well as raising her family. She always put her family first and gave of herself freely to every person’s life she touched. Lou liked to laugh and have fun. She loved country western music, reading, sewing, camping and spending time with her family.

Lou is preceded in death by her mother, Viola Miller; grandparents, Alfred and Florence Miller; 1st husband, Albert “Leroy” Tennis; 2nd husband, Orville “Frank” Isom; sister, Karen Kae.

Lou is survived by her daughters, Catherine Young and husband Doug, Cynthia Leonard and husband Thom, Connie Gonzalez and husband Paul, Carol Olivarez and husband Jaime; son, Steven Tennis and wife Kathryn; grandchildren, Tabitha Bailey, Kacy Olivarez, Samual Gilliland, Crystal Gonzalez, Jacob Gonzalez, Kristin Buenestro, Diego Olivarez, Ryaine Gonzalez, Bryce Leonard, Karen Tennis, Cheyenne Gonzalez, Payton Leonard, Lauren Tennis and Joshua Tennis; 15 great grandchildren; step children, Tim Isom, Marty Isom and Lisa Ercums; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 23, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home with Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
