Steve Breaux age 68 of Alvin, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at HCA Houston Healthcare in Webster, Texas. Steve was born September 17, 1952 in Crowley, Louisiana and was a resident of Alvin for over 30 years. He worked for 30 years as a specialist for Lyondell Basil retiring in 2008. Steve was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin where he served as an Accolite and was also a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council 6403. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lacie Breaux; brother-in-law, Danny Bell; parents Homer and Virgie Breaux.
Steve is survived by his wife of 27 years, Deidra Breaux; children, Steven Breaux and wife Rachael, Stacie Oswald and husband Kirk, Jeremy Breaux and wife Dawn, Adam Breaux, Christina Valdez and husband Jaime, Krista Breaux; grandchildren, Cody Breaux, Alixandria Breaux, Kacie Baker and husband Chase, Zane Oswald, Rane Oswald, Lacie Oswald, Jacie Oswald, Tranton Breaux, Slayton Breaux, Kalista Breaux, Tessa Breaux, Hunter Reichert, Paytton Rowe and Abigail Valdez; brothers and sisters, Bobby Breaux, Betty Bell, Pam Johansen and husband Dave, Jerald Breaux and wife Mary; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 PM with a Funeral Mass following the Rosary.
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made in Steve’s honor to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
