Diana Lynn Foote Wilson age 67, went to her heavenly home on January 29, 2020.  Diana was born in Bryan, TX on December 13,1952.  She was a 1971 graduate of Alvin High School; she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1973 from The University of North Texas.  She also received her Masters from University of Houston Clearlake in 1978.  She began her teaching career with Alvin ISD in 1974 where she remained until retirement in 2016.  Her first year she taught Fifth grade at Longfellow Elementary and moved to R.L. Stevenson when it opened and taught Second grade the rest of her teaching career.  She was a longtime member of Delta Delta Chapter.

Diana truly lived her life for children whether it was for her daughters, grandchildren or all the children she taught over her forty-two years in education.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Autie and Nora Foote and sister Debi Deans.  

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, William Wilson; daughters: Shauna Hopkins and Krista Day and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren: Lane Ainsworth, Lexi Day, Hunter Hopkins and KyLynn Hopkins; Debi’s boys Blake Deans and wife, Jennifer and Timothy Deans; sister: Patty Humbird and husband, Rodney and her children Rhonda, Steven and Kelli Humbird.  She also leaves behind her special group of girlfriends or as they call themselves The Fabolous Five.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Jimmy Day, Lane Ainsworth, Hunter Hopkins, Blake Deans, and Timothy Deans.
