Julio G. Galvan, 74, of Alvin, Texas, passed away September 13, 2019. He was born in Pearland, Texas, to Eugene and Olivia Galvan on October 24, 1944. 

Julio worked as a pipe yard builder for the oil rigs for Davis Lynch for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed watching football and boxing and had a passion for his family and friends. He was a member of Templo Cristo Para Todos in Alvin, Texas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Olivia Galvan; brothers, Eugene Galvan Jr. and Reynaldo Galvan; and sisters, Maria Martinez and Alice Sanchez.

He is survived by loving wife of 51 years, Tomasa Galvan; daughters, Stephanie Galvan and Geneieve Hamric; sons, Julian Galvan and Vincent Galvan; sister-in-law, Victoria Garcia; grandkids: Andrea Hamric, Sarah Sells, Ashley Cardoza, Josh Hamric, Julian Isaac Galvan, Isaiah Moreno, Elijah Moreno, Angie Trevino, Jacob Galvan and Jillian Galvan; great-grandkids: Lilli and Sofia Vargas, Ryleigh and Joshua Benjamin Hamric, Madelynn Moreno, Josiah Moreno, Jesse James Brenham, Anberlin Ixi and Julian Able Galvan, III and Baby Cardoza and Baby Moreno on the way.

Services were held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery.
